A History Of MoJo Barrier

Mojo barriers were first conceptualised in 1988, when Dutch firm Mojo Concerts wanted to improve crowd safety at live events. Its steel barriers quickly saw use from such megastars as U2, Prince and the Rolling Stones.

A major change took place in 1998, when Mojo Barriers upgraded to aluminium. This made its barriers significantly lighter, with a weight saving of around 40%, and making them cheaper to transport and easier to set up.

Recently, Mojo barriers have been used at some of the largest festivals in the UK, such as Download in Leicester, Glastonbury in Somerset and Boomtown in Hampshire.
